An internship within the Sourcing team to provide hands-on experience in strategic sourcing within a global transportation technology and manufacturing environment. The intern will support supplier research, evaluation, onboarding, cost analysis, and supplier performance tracking, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supplier research, evaluation, and selection
• Support the preparation of RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs
• Assist with supplier management and onboarding processes
• Maintain and update supplier databases and sourcing documentation
• Participate in cost analysis and benchmarking
• Track and report on supplier performance metrics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, logistics, sales, finance)
• Prepare sourcing reports and presentations for stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards

Qualifications

• Education: A 3-year Tertiary Qualification (Degree or Diploma) in:
• Supply Chain Management,
• Procurement,
• Business Administration
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Interest in manufacturing and supply chain operations
• Strong knowledge of operational functions and cross-functional interdependencies
